Ahhh, maybe it is the time change, or the latest slew of opportunities that have come my way for TCS (more on that later), but I feel extremely energetic on this Monday morning. So like any good blogger, I decided to write about it. I also decided to start a new section on my blog, titled “My Musings”, so that I can take a moment to reflect and share some random thoughts with you readers. Now, some of these tasty morsels may be fashion-related, and others may not.
So, why don’t we start the week, and change of season (hello fall!), with a little inspiration?
It’s officially fall, which means that my favorite pair of Rebecca Minkoff loafers will be out and in full rotation. If you do not own a pair of loafers, I highly suggest that you jump on that bandwagon soon. These calf hair confections have been my best companion for almost two seasons, and I can not imagine a fall without them. They are a chic and more durable alternative to the ballet flat. And most importantly, they are just plain comfortable. I am also completely enamored with the November issue of Elle and all of the fall-inspired fashion that is contained within its pages. Big knits, over-sized outerwear, and even bigger prints (think plaids, color blocked monochrome, and herringbone patterns) are going to be huge for fall, and Elle completely solidified this notion with its fresh mix of editorial candy.
As for the coffee and floral accent?
Well, this coffee lover can’t imagine starting the day without it, and who doesn’t love fresh flowers?
Now go out and conquer the week, my style mavens!
