Foodie Friday. The Social Influencer Brunch Edition

Location: The Silver Dollar

This weekend, I spent a lovely afternoon discussing the high and lows of creating online content over southern-style fair, with a handful of other Louisville social influencers. The experience was one to remember and definitely one to be repeated. Each of us brought a different view to the table -literally and figuratively- and had different opinions on what it actually means to be a blogger.

Breaking bread with individuals who each hope to get something different out of blogging was enlightening. From creating content for social media full time, to starting a podcast, and even spreading the word on how amazing the local food scene is here, everyone viewed blogging as an essential part of the process when it comes to reaching their goals.

I am so grateful for the experience, and to have a tribe of local social media mavens to bounce ideas off of and meet up with on the regular. When I first started The Chic Street, I was one of the first here locally, and had to experienced all the challenges and feats by myself. However, that has all changed now, and I am so very grateful for that.
